Community Art  and Art - in - Healthcare
What is community art?
Among the many possible definitions of community art, we choose to apply one that indicates the involvement of a group  - some form of community - who gather under the guidance of a professional artist and are helped to create a communal project.

The finished project will bear the handiwork of not just one but many individuals and identities. This orchestration offers a poetic creation that may be perceived as an act of community. In this way the community or whole becomes greater than the sum of the parts.
