Artist Statement:

The Land.

It forms our bodies; our character and our identity.

As much as we deny it, the land is who we are.

Canada - its geography - keeps us free. Those of us who can still feel it beneath our hard soles are drawn and sculpted by it.

I am free formed - for as long as I don't deny my connection.
